Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the use of the TeleV application for Android TV (the "App") and the website telev.app (the "Website"), provided by the TeleV developer ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App or the Website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Unofficial application

The App is an unofficial third-party client for Telegram and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Telegram. Use of Telegram through the App is subject to Telegram's Terms of Service.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not distribute, sell, or modify the App, or use it in violation of any law.

3. Content

All content displayed in the App is provided by Telegram and its users. We do not host, control, or review such content and are not responsible for it. You are solely responsible for the content you access and for complying with applicable law, including intellectual property law.

4. Intellectual property

The App, the Website, and the TeleV name and logo are our property. Third-party components are licensed under their respective licenses, as listed on the Open-Source Licenses page.

5. Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or the Website, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice.

6. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and the Website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from the use of the App, the Website, or content accessed through them.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

9. Mandatory law

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to section 9.

11. General

We may amend these Terms by publishing a revised version on this page. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
